As an international and peer-reviewed journal, the Journal of Human Context Studies and Social-Cultural Influences (JHCSCI) is open access with the primary aim of assisting in the creation of academic knowledge related to the ways that social, cultural, and contextual forces affect and shape the lives of individual humans and human collective groups as a whole.

The JHCSCI offers a research platform that takes into account the various social contexts that help give meaning, create identity, foster interaction and establish belonging for humans that may exist outside of a single model of behaviour. The JHCSCI values articles that present the human experience through cultural, contextual and social lenses, which give context to both theory and practice, as well as to daily living.
